Finding the personal and human touch in the world of banking
In 2018, research showed that consumers’ trust in their banks was broken while tech-savvy audiences demanding zero-hassle and more personal offerings. Our brief from Tandem was to create a digital platform that was trustworthy and innovative at the same time.
We built a multi-platform website to communicate transparently what made Tandem different: a good bank built by real people. Rather than simply mimic the corporate face of traditional banking, we made space for co-founders’ stories and the all-important personal touch.
Still growing rapidly, Tandem began its first week of public launch with over 1,500 people invested. They easily surpassed their initial £1 million target to reach £2 million as a trusted yet refreshing bank for a more digitally switched on market.
