Building passion amongst store staff on the heritage of an ’80s basketball icon
Rather than just do the usual sneaker drop, Converse came to Stereo generate advocacy amongst Footlocker staff about all things ERX, so that sales teams could become ambassadors for the ’80s court icon and two new collections by streetwear designer Don C.
For the launch of the new Jewel and History ERX collections we crafted a bespoke, premium book that showcased the evolution of shoe through a visual narrative, celebrating the timeline of the ERX from 1980 through to 1991 and beyond.
The ERX returned with a bang, landing its way back onto the streets and courts in style. Converse partnered with Footlocker to celebrate with several launch parties where limited editions of the book were available, only to those in the know.
